For 2021 we changed format for the Grace Cathedral Gala and went virtual. When designing the gala it was important to me to showcase the Cathedral, create connections in the community and promote the arts which led me to the idea of doing an interactive art installation. The colorful art installation of strings was born by the idea of connecting people of all different backgrounds in a safe way on the steps of Grace Cathedral. The design for the art installation became the foundation for Carnivale in the Box design.
